PROJECT BRIEF

To produce a highlights video from the awards ceremony for the Synbicite scheme where biology students were asked to create businesses to promote and sell their innovations in the field of Synthetic biology.

APPROACH

The purpose of the video was to promote the outstanding success of the scheme. Using the awards and presentation ceremony as a backdrop, information on the scheme was given via a series of interviews with organisers, judges and participants. The video and imagery had to be appealing to other students in order to attract them to participate in the scheme in the future. We filmed the event on two cameras and cut the video to a suitable music track

 

DELIVERY AND OUTCOME

The finished video was uploaded to the client's YouTube channel. The video attracted more students to take part in the scheme and led to several further enquiries for videos both from the initial client and individual participants.
